Get Rich or Die Tryin was great. The Massacre was crap. In my opinion, that's what effected sales of Curtis. More people are scared of a Massacre quality album than hopeful of a Get Rich or Die Trying repeat... Atleast that's what I've noticed in my conversations with other rap fans...

My take on both albums :

They were both really good..

Curtis : simply same stuff on some of the songs.. A couple were Ja rule joints.. Including AYO TECHNOLOGY.... a change for 50.. Beats were hot... I give the album 3.5 out of 5.

Kanye : New style for Kanye, More deep **** that alot of people can relate too, Some of the beats were questionable..His voice is still wack and annoying, but the lyrics were well written. I mean, Listen to "BIG BROTHER " was he dissing JAY Z on the last verse? I give it a 4.5 out of 5.


My take, both albums were good, but you can listen to the whole Kanye thing without skipping a track, on 50, you have to fast foward the ***** a couple of times..
