Ok, so I'm having a really difficult time choosing a wedding gift for Rick. Does anyone have any suggestions or any ideas? I know what he wants, but it's really not in my budget right now, so I'm looking for alternatives to a new dirt bike. Anyone?

Yeah, he wants a new dirt bike so bad he can't stand it lol, but it's really not in my budget right now. He bought my gifts already, so I really don't know what to do. As far as I know, you're supposed to buy your wife-to-be or husband-to-be a little something special and give it to him or her as a gift on your wedding day. Whether that's a requirement, I'm not sure. LOL

Why are you buying him a present???

Shouldn't ya'll save that money and put it towards your house/furnishings/the wedding/ honeymoon??? Or maybe ya'll just have lots of monies. :dunno:

Also, isn't he on IA?

Does it make sense... no, and would it probably be better to put the money towards a house, yes. However, it's a tradition in both of our families that we have chosen to uphold. I want him to have something special that he gets on our wedding day. I'm just running out of ideas. Yes he is on IA, but I was just hoping for some ideas that might spark something in my head.

My thoughts, too. I've never heard of the "supposed to buy each other gifts" thing. Later, QD.

Isn't that supposed to involve DVDs, anal lube, bubbly and lingerie? Later, QD.

Wow... I really thought this was a normal thing to do lol. Oh well... I guess I'll leave work early to hit up Star Ship for some DVDs, lube minus the anal preface, and lingerie. Thanks for the input guys, I knew I could count on you!
