i've heard the sr20 swaps are a good platform to learn about how a motor generally works. pretty much, i'm going to try and do it all myself, (or with my brother's help) and i need some advice / websites to learn from. i know that i'll have to read and i'm willing to spend the time to make sure i'm doing everything correctly.

it's going to be my first actual engine build/boosted car, so i wanna try to do everything right. i know i'll mess up here and there, but basically i wanna get into doing engine work myself. i'm only familiar with cosmetic work and simple things like i/h/e/suspension/interior/audio, but have never really touched an engine up til now.

very true. thats how i learned to build computers. fried a few parts and sliced my hands open :lmfao: but being somewhat poor i can't afford to make too many mistakes with the engine :D i've been reading up on a few forums already and it seems i should try a civic w/sohc and whatnot but m not a fan of civics.

if youjust want to learn, start with a ka, turbo it, when it blows rebuild it or just put another ka in.

so start by turboing the stock engine. that actually sounds like a good idea, but i need something to read. like a manual type of thing. so i have something to base what i'm doing on.

If this car you're planning on ''learning'' on is your DailyDriver, i REALLY wouldnt suggest doing this...
