ok so i like the idea but i have noticed a flaw i dont like.. and that is with no new posting parts or car's forsale then its just the sameo stuff on here and i like to see what parts and cars peps have to offer or sell but unless they pay $10 bucks they cant post ??

so IA is becoming a charging site now i guess ?
so unless they are just here to buy only then its no good to them cause they cant post in the market...

maybe its me but i wouldnt wana pay 10 bucks i mean theres alot of sites that dont charge still to post cars and parts and id use them but all IA is really doing is losing alot of respectful people who wana be part but have to wait a year and 50 reps etc ??? guess we will just have sameo folks and not many new peps or fun things at all:no:

maybe im just missing the idea idk........................

yes, it does make IA money, but you also have to factor in that this will cut out the scammers that plan on just signing up to sell things. see it as, buyer protection :)

agreed. its a double edged sword but the benefits of being scammer safe is a little on the better side.

It is a necessary precaution because if you don't prevent brand new members from posting in the For Sale section, then you get people who scam the members who are trust worthy.

I think I have been on here for like 2 years now? But when I was a noob I noticed a shit load more interesting vehicles on a daily/weekly basis. Now, its kinda the same shit every day.
If it was my decision, I would remove that little law for the 10 bucks. Let people do it as long as they have 100 posts and get another moderator or two in there and call it a day.

My 2 cents.

How's that for an answer for yall?......way to go Julio. :goodjob:

See, what some of you fail to realize is that IA is chock full of newbies that come here for only one thing: free stuff. Wether that's for sale or porn or events postings or whatever. They come here NOT to contribute anything else to IA but put up their crappy stuff for sale. Then when you tell them to read the rules, they get pissy.....when you tell them not do something, they cry.....when you tell them to do something besides put up their beat up parts or cars for sale, they get all testy. Personally, I get really irritated when I have to repeat the same thing over and over and over again to someone.....and this is why the rules of the forum are stickied a top every forum.

BTW, how many of you that are complaining EVER pay to keep IA open? How many of you ever help organize threads? How many have taken the time to help advertise for the site to stay free as it always has been??? Then you have no damn room to bitch!!! You want IA to stay free for YOU, then someone ELSE has to fit the bill, right? Then don't bitch when rules are placed to help keep IA open and FREE for all of you complainers on the backs of PAYING SPONSORS and VOLUNTEERS that keep IA going. Quit your damn cry baby shit. Grow up and finally get the whole picture.

instead if an up-front fee why not charge a commission of sorts. like 2% or something for using the services. that way all transactions are charged rather than just a one time fee. that way if you dont find anything you like then you arent being charged anyways......

lirl mini-mods... it is a good idea. I mean i got worried tryin to get at least 50 pts so i could post up in da wtb section. But i wasnt here for all that. i love checkin out the kills forum and meets and just the random shit here and isnt that kinda the point of IA? cant have it flood full of wannabe salesman ya know? The waiting a year kinda irks me but hey i can deal. other than that its just participation kinda like a reward thing ya know?
