Okay, here's the prob. I have a linksys wireless router, & my ISP is At & T. Okay, I can connect to internet throught the modem, but not when the routers being used.
Now since my routers out of warranty the linksys people won't tell me how to get the connection back, cause the routers obviously working. So any tech support guys, holler at me. lol They want me to pay them $29 for them to tell me how to get the connection back. lol No dice!!....Vegeta

soooo, the modem works connected to the computer, but when you connect: modem - router - computer(hard wired) does it still work? or are you reffering to connecting through the router wirelessly?

to access the wireless settings, type the ip address 192.168.1.1 and the default password is admin with no username

I tried that, but it won't open up that page either. I have to do some command in the "CMD" screen. I've done the whole " IPCONFIG, /release & /renew" to no avail.:cry: .
So, I'm owned, cause I'd like my router to play Socom 3 & I have another desktop running off the wireless router as well. So lemme know tech support guys! lol....Vegeta

But no way I was going to pay $29 for lousy tech support, so they can talk to me for 5 minutes & fix my prob. Hecky naw. lol....Vegeta

try holding down the reset button for 10seconds.
or reset the modem and then the router, hopefully that'll refresh both of the client addresses.
maybe its just a dead router. happens sometimes.
