Yeah the tails and center section between them is the major outer differences. Inside things like the gauges and what not are different too.

I guess lack of steering angle, a rearend that needs a panhard bar and 4 link to not bind in action, and a 90 hp carburated rotary makes a car a drift king..

I drifted one once. It was weird and cool all at the same time. You can rev the shit out of it, which is cool, but then it's weird when you try to transition...overly snappy or something.

Hell yeah man. Don't get me wrong, those cars are pure fun. With minimal work like some shocks and springs, they handle Great! And the 12a motor is tough as nails!
BUT.
Drifting them is a different story. They don't have steering angle. The rearend is likely to bind once you start sliding over 50 without a panhard bar or a 4 link (or even better would be both). And you have to have quick hands. Its not impossible. Adam tears it up still in his. But he rides on full lock and still gets told he needs more angle so he might eventually go to an FC. Oh and he has a 13bt.

But as for buying one to drive. Do it. Awesome cars. Tons of Fun.

thats y i want one,they are more reliable than the 13Bs and bettter gas milage,plus their awhole lot lighter than the FCs and FDs.......but its lacks power as u said....but im ok with that(i drive a celica):D

I beat the hell out of that car, rev limiter shifts down dirt roads. And about the whole angle thing?
