Which would u choose?

is300 - great motor a little cheaper -sportier than the g - great aftermarket -
But not as roomy as the g, not as nice inside as the G to me - alot of them on the road

G35 - roomy inside - decent power - more grown up than the Is - decent aftermarket - not alot of modded gsedans.. Alittle more expensive than the IS - maintenace i heard is a bit more..

i want a bigger car been lookin at these 2 lately.. and their prices are within reach.. any input?

If it is a coupe I will def take G35, but between a sedan and an IS300 I would take IS300.

Are you talking about the Lexus IS350/250? I like the styling on the IS much better (it is wicked, really), but I don't like the fact that the more powerful engine is only available with the automatic. The G looks a bit more bloated, but is available with a six speed. Performance wise, I have read that both are fairly capable, but I would bet that the G35 sedan would outmaneuver the IS is.

I like the IS300 styling again... but I know the G has it beat hands down with power though. Infiniti will probably outhandle it too.
But look at the bright side of things: the IS300 has a detuned NA Supra TT motor, right?

the g35 def. has more power but i would bet that the IS is better in handling and braking. the IS300 beat out the 01 e46 M3 in slalom and braking in a few tests.

do you plan on modding? if yes, how much power will you be happy with?

MAn honestly i just want something with more space.. comfortable.. alot of extras.. that i can drive out of town.. and not be worried about anything. Put a little money into the exterior. not gonna go crazy with the motor at all..
im kind of leaning more towards the g tho.. but the IS looks so much more sportier!

would i be right to thinking the is would be more reliable than the g in the long run?

Reliabilty should be great with either, but I think the IS would probably edge out the G in that department.

i would think the IS is better... it is considered one of the best used cars to buy and the easiest used car to sell. it takes an avg. of 2 days to sell a used IS.

but service is also unbelievable at lexus.. infinity can't touch lexus!

i personally would take an IS. i think you should get the G. you want the space, comfort, and you like the interior better on the G. like you said, the G is more grown up. it will also be nice to see a clean not stock 4 door G. G35 sedans with any modifications are few and far between.
