I had to put my ferret to sleep today...

So i went to the vet cause my ferret of 4 years wasnt doing to good. i wasnt expecting it to be too serious until the doctor tells me that he has a tumor in his stomach. he gave me my options which were to let the dr. try and treat him but not have ANY hope that he will live...or to put him down. it was the hardest decision to make, but i had to put him down. it took me at least 20 minutes to sign the form, i was crying so bad...before they took him back i let his brother see him for one last time and it was the cutest thing, he started to lick his face and clean him up, i lost it then...i also got a picture of it. today has been the worst day this year...:(

i had a hamster once that got a couple of tumors and we had to put it down. i cryed and cryed. u wouldnt thinkan animal that small would have such an impact on u but somehow it does.
