Soda Prices Rise?

I don't know about yall up there, but down here in my area all the prices of soda, or anything bottle in vending machines by Coke or Pepsi, went up.

Anyone hear about this or know why?

Cans are now 75 cents and bottles are $1.25. What a fucking rip.

I haven't been drinking soda much anymore, so I just noticed this the other day.

Seems really dumb to raise all the prices a quarter like this is Disney or something. But not sure if this was just my area, or just Florida or what?

I mean $1.25 for a bottle of Dasani? I can take some tap water, add salt, and mix it up for free.

if you hit the vault bottle button multiple times you can get 2 or 3 bottles for 50 cents needless to say the vaults are typically out in a few days :D

It's not about the damn sodas, as I said I rarely drink them. It's about the inflation, well for me atleast.

it all depends where. I can go outside my Kroger and a Coke is $1. I can go to Discover Mills and a 20oz Coke is $2.00. It's just a matter of location, Coke only makes a certain %, the vending machine companies make a certain % of it, and most places above $1.00, wherever its located also take a % of it all.

California already has too many people, every year during the Rose Bowl the rest of the country is Freezing there asses off and they are watching the 70 degree weather and sunny skies on the 1st of January and it hits them and they say "Why do we put up with this shit"

when I worked at discover mills... random vending machines had random different prices

for example, the one right next to coldstone across from jillians is and always was 1.25, but the one near the food court was like 2$+, etc wierd stuff.... i guess those are higher traffic areas?

I was just very suprised.

Gas prices have been going up and down for a long time, and they aren't even at their peak now. So that doesn't make sense.
