Going back to school what to do?

I have an idea of what i want to take when i go back. I want to take radiology but I am just not sure. Anybody know a good field to get into? I am sick of cars. I also thought about going back for something in relation to computers (networking etc) but the wife said the field is over saturated. Is that so?

Radiology would be a nice profession to get into. The money is good and there is always openings for radiologists. Later, QD.

I know for a fact.. that youcan go to a 2 year school for radiology and start out making 75K a year... all you do is sit there and take X-rays.. i know a couple people who hvae done it.

Yes they can. Many in the field are near retirement age. I dated a girl that was an RT and she would just sit there playing on Myspace making like $25 an hour waiting on a patient to need a scan. She would also get pay for being on call and if she had to actually go in it would be like double or triple time pay.

You can pretty much work anywhere in the 50 states and if you go work for a VA Hospital somewhere you can retire in 20 years with a nice pension. :goodjob:

maybe i'm wrong... BUT my friend was going to school for radiology.. and decided to change majors because the percentage of people that actually make it is slim and none..

or something.. idk.. but

he was way interested in it.. then up and changed majors... and this kid is brilliant.. so it's not like he's a dumb kid who just couldn't make it...

There's a HUGE difference between a radiologist and a radiology tech.

I have heard quite the opposite about the IT field.
