Are you planning to keep the car obd1 or are you gonna make it obd2? Just wondering. Cause I heard you can convert the head to run on obd1 by changing the dizzy and something else..

Yea keep the OBD1 and just change the dizzy. Could I use the D15 non VTEC on the Y8 VTEC and run right? Or would I need a Z6 dizzy?

I think you're gonna need the z6 dizzy. I'm not quite sure cause I was wondering myself if a d15 nonVTEC dizzy worked on a z6 head...just bought me a z6 dizzy and got it over with. Thats what I think you should just do...

Ok besides that what about the ECU buy a conversion harness to OBD2 to OBD1? Also use the OBD1 harness on the the engine and fuel injectors?

With the Dizzy you need Z6 internals in a y8 Dizzy shell.
Because the z6 dizzy does not line up with the bolt pattern on the y8.

You can even use OBD1 wiring on the OBD2 motor, they are almost backwards compatible, there are a few sensors your are gonna have to get to just plug em up and let them dangle.

Oh and I got a perfect y8 dizzy if you need one.
