Ok so I have the worst PMS in the world (ok maybe not but still)...

I get so emotional and can honestly cry/get so mad i'm shaking over nothing.
It's like an emotional high (usually in a bad way) that hits then goes away and my body literally feels wore out afterwards.

Am I having anxiety attacks or is this normal PMS?

It wasn't always this way. I used to not even get a period in my younger, thinner days. Once I started to put weight on, it got more regular (I used to weight about 100 lbs until I was 25, I'm 30 now). I got my period for 1-2 days a few times a year until 25. My doctor said that Yaz may cure all of the symptoms or it may not; it may just make them better. She said that after 60 days if I don't notice a difference in things that she may prescribe me an antidepressant to take the edge of. She said that some of these things are just hereditary. My mother is bi-polar and is supposed to take lithium. She said it happens to lots of women and it's easily treatable and that if it affects your life and relationships...which it does mine...then it's a big deal to take care of it :)

Good luck. I'll let you know how things go in 10 weeks after my next check up.

It hurts mine and Kyle's relationship at times. I'm taking St John's Wart. Ever heard of it? It's a herbal mood enhancer. I'm gonna give it a few weeks and see if it helps. If not, I'm going to the Dr. for sure!
