ok heres the catch. they aren't mushy all the time, only if aplied slooooowlly. but any other time they are fine. master cylinder or what?:???: sorry guys this is my first import. im used to old hot rods and trucks.
btw its a 95 civic ex with a jdm d15 sohc vtec swap

if your suggesting the brakes are leaking at the wheels, i checked it, if not you gotta walk me through this.

They just might be old and arnt working right any more..

i had that problem.. it ended up being my master cylinder..
Sounds like master cylinder to me

Same problem I had with my Jetta a while back. The brakes were mushy and progressively got worse until the master brake cylinder just died one day.

Just another idea... not sure at all... but could the actual brake lines be worn out/too stretchy? Hose dilating due to pedal pressure?
