name brand whore?

is anyone else here a name brand whore? like, you'll buy some part over another mainly for the name? regardless if it gives you that extra 3 hp or is 1 lb heavier. or simply makes you smile everytime you look at it.

example: i was previously a HKS whore. i had a HKS jasma approved header (paid a ton of money for it) HKS air filter, HKS A/F gauge, but couldn't find a HKS exhaust for the life of me. so now i've switched companies. TRUST aka GReddy.
i've just become such a whore, there are plenty of parts out there for my car but i truly only like GReddy ones. i like everything to be uniform on my cars. it just looks better to me. anyone a name brand whore?

hmm....i'm pretty name brand on expensive shit. my gauges are all AutoMeter Cobalts (7 of them). My wheels are knock off Bullits but they are all the same so it doesnt really matter then.

I am into glow (neons) and I used to ONLY buy Streetglow, but after seeing another company that had cheaper, better cathodes i decided to buy from them. They arent as well known but it was better all around.

but with my car, i cant be name brand specific, there arent that many items out that one company mass produces...other than suspension stuff.

Nope, because most of the companies for VW's dont make everything you would need. One brand for exhaust, another for intakes, manifolds, etc.
