not sure if this is old news or not.... i'm sure most of you know about the do not call list...

but i was just informed telemarketers were gonna start calling cell phones.. and since i've had a few i called and registered so the calls will stop...

this isn't just for cell phones... i'm prolly going to call it today from all of our business lines... cause i'm tired of those calls coming in....

here's the number..

888-382-1222

and website is..

www.donotcall.gov

if you're calling you have to call from the line.. you want registered....

if this is a repost... do what you must...

Yeah, the cellphone version has been going for about a year now. I don't receive calls from TMs yet, so I'll wait, but I may sign up if it gets to that point. Later, QD.

I have yet to get any solicitors to my cell phone, but about the do not call list, I read it is up this year and no longer effective if your number is there. You have to renew it.

I have my land line on the list, but not cell phone. Until I get calls, I don't see why I should put my number out there at all.

Yeah, just make sure if you put the numbers on a while ago to renew them. As that article stated, only about 660k out of 2 million have renewed.

Lolol.

I am not heading back OTR anymore. I got a position hauling Wal Mart freight to all the stores now. Same company but now I'm only pulling for Wal-Mart. Home every day and off a couple of days a week. Sucks a little because I wanted to see the rest of the country, but it's nice to still make great money for no work and be home. Later, QD.

Take that shit, man. Despite what most of the people that think they know about "truckers," it's a lot of fun and there is always a job in that field. And the money is real nice. Last week, I worked 25 hours and made a bit over a grand. And all I do is drive. The hardest part of my job is deciding what to eat. It's not get rich money(although it can be), but it's definitely good money. Later, QD.
