S14 codes ?

Ok so my 91 SE coupe i got in a trade a while back with my B13 had a engine swap i was told in it but wasnt sure till i got it home and noticed alot of things wur left half ass and somethings just riged so i had the job of cleaniong and fixing the stuff the way it should be.

well heres the thing my speed sensor went out today and i took it to my friends shop we was replacing it with a new one but it didnt fit so we got a few off his part cars and none worked so we are like WTF we just replaced the gear since it was stripped.

later we find one for a s14 that looks exactly the same and he thinks now i have a complete S14 swap ......


what ways can i find out if it is a S14 De swap ?:thinking:

visually...hmm the easiest is probably lookin at the stock header, one of the valve cover bolts are different, and there are a few different things on the intake manifold

well this is my first "DE" so i dont know what would be different or what things to look for exactly :no:

It's a 240...they break and cant be fixed, drive it till it 100% is dead ;)

on monday ill look and tell you if you come to the meet or you can look at the back of the valve cover see if it has 3 bolts going across or just two. if its three its a s14 head at least. or the complete motor

yeah ok i see the diference now in the valve cover studs so my engine is a s13 but im almost pos. its a s14 tranny
