I went to the third largest cave in the U.S. in Alabama. I took my camera inside the cave to mess around. It was freakin dark. All shots were handheld and at iso 1600 on my Nikon D200.

The cave is over two miles long, but the tour is only 1 mile. The cave stays a constant 57-59 degrees. This was my first time in a cave.

It's in Grant Alabama. It is about 30 miles from Huntsville. From Atlanta, it's about 3 hrs away.

nice. i bet it was a bit creepy for the first person ever to discover it.

a friend of mine went to some cavern in montana back in the day and this one had a KFC or some shit in it underground. I just cant imagine how hard it is to do construction in a crammed area like this,.
