i bought a 95 corolla used, and it has 165000 miles on it.
previous owner didn't change timing belt yet,
and he's had it since 100,000 miles.

i think the original owner changed the belt once,
and i'm wondering how much it would cost to get it changed again..

i think it's due, and im not sure but i dont wanna risk it.

any advice? costs? what to watch out for?

i didn't know where to put this, and i'm wanting to buy a belt change, so i guess i put it here.

alldata times say for the 1.8 and 1.6 liter 2.7 hours. shopkey5 times are 2.6 hours for both. average labor rate most shops $75 so around [email protected] hours. somplace are going to want to change some seals that are easy to get while the belt is off. for the most part they should only be adding like another .5-.8 of an hour to the bill.
