ok, i am gettinhg another exhaust made for my itr. i want 2.5 all the way back but, i want to make it with less bends. has anybody ever seen or made one that goes straight back under the gas take to the muffler. i was think of doing that but i dont know if it will be safe doing that. or should i just follow the path on the car.

if you are trying to eliminate bends you can just turn the pipe down befor the gas tank. it will be loud

Running your exhaust under the gas tank won't work out at all. Think ground clearence issues and you'll be in the right boat. Mandrel bent piping is the way to go. The pipes stay the same size through every bent and no power is lost. Though it's a more costly way not to loose power, it's one of the more effective. Of course you can always run your pipe out the side and just have one bend. That will save you money. Pray like hell you don't get a ticket for noise pollution, though

I wouldn't do that if i was you...
First... emmissions... your car will never pass them with a cat...
Second... noise... there is only so loud your car can be before you'll get noise violation... it's like having music up realy loud... if they can hear you 200ft away - it's a violation.
well... that's it...
And if you get a tag in a county where you don't have to pass emmissions and don't give a fcuk about noise... be my guest...
Record it and let us hear it.
