I will tell you what jappy mCjapeerson.......I have a gsr motor and its pretty fuckin slow so hmmmmmmm. Like 170hp but it's torque is pretty decent. Still the slowest civic ever. Those wheels you have must weigh a ton with all the spray paint and all.

Just because your 18's are "light" doesnt mean it can't mess up your gear ratios, your car accelerates slower with those wheels compared to if it had the stock wheels. Bigger wheels and no torque to actually get them moving isn't the greatest combination.

ok heres the deal. Both the B18C(JDM SIR-G"GSR") and B18C1(USDM GSR) are the same motor, A B18C5 in an ITR motor. In japan it is also called a B18C (B18C Spec R "Type R"), but the difference is the motor has completely different internals. unless his tranny has "LSD" stamped on it and his block code is that of a ITR then it is just a plain Jane GSR motor.
I saw his engine bay at wash me the other day and I didn't see a Red Valve cover either, ITR's have red valve covers and make 210 hp.

GSR's make 178.

either way, it would still not have 200 to the wheels, and thats all that matters.

he could have spent the same amount of money and boosted the D to make his car way faster than it is now. But that just shows how little people tend to think when it comes to making decisions these days.
