All,

I have a friend who wants to register their car in another county.

The plan, with the new address requirement, is to change the Driver's license address to the parent's address in County A, then go to the tag office there with the shiny new license for address proof. Car gets registered.

Then (possibly) go do an address change back in the original county "County B" for yet another new license.

Anyone with any knowledge know if this will backfire, or if my friend should adjust the plan?

Things to consider:
-Insurance on the vehicle is billed to emissions county address (County B). Does this show up in the GA insurance database and have to match the address you show the tag office?

Thanks!

With all that crap you posted, I would imagine it would backfire. Later, QD.

Wow, I'm sure your friend is the first person to ever try to hatch such a daring plot to foil "the man". Why not just keep insurance and registration at

A: Parents house

Or else
B: The government will know
Because

C: Insurance, emissions and driver license information are all uploaded to a secure database at an undisclosed location. Then using sophisticated programs they cross-reference all existing names, locations and social security numbers. Then if any discrepancies are found the information is then sent to the GBI per a secure line. The GBI will then review all applicable data, and if warrants they will send it to the FBI via encrypted code transmission thru satellite GS-321A-45. They will match your data against suspected terrorists all around the world, if they have a match, they will send you a letter telling you to register your car in the county you live in.
