Ok, so lately I"ve took a break from dl mp3's from limewire. Since I updated to the new version, I can't find any damn sources for the songs to dl from. I clicked on every file with no success. Anyone else having this problem with limewire :???:

yea dont update, do a restore on your pc from right before you updated and that should fix the problem

naw...i stopped using that.....if you got comcast...they will send you a notice, and if you keep using torrents, they will disconnect you completely.....

anyways.....good thing to know that the problem was fixed.....limewire works fine for me though....never got any spam/spyware/viruses from it....i got the pro edition if that helps....:goodjob:

Are you serious? I would argue about it - I mean you DO pay for the connection and it's bandwidth, its your right to use as much or as little of it as you want.

yea...it's 100% true....yes I am paying for it, and it's my bandwidth....lol....they have a hidden bandwidth limit....google it for more info....they monitor how much bandwidth you use per month....and when you download a torrent, you can slow down your whole neighborhood if you have other comcast customers....

Its mostly the software they're worried about. I got a letter from them a week later after i dL'ed a fake virus program. The file will seem legit, but once you install it, its junk.

Wow. I don't think I will ever subscribe to Comcast if that is the case. I use my Bellsouth connection WAY over that in a month and they don't do anything about it.
