No reason you can't, it's an OEM replacement just like any other shock...

Just slide the ground control sleeve & perch on then the Eibach spring.

Just search for ground control's on ebay, and it should tell you which strut they will work with in the ad.
For instance: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GROUND-CONTROL-COILOVER-SPRINGS-88-91-HONDA-CIVIC-CRX_W0QQitemZ200146703370QQihZ010QQcategoryZ33582Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I hate ground control coilovers. Those kind of shocks just are not made to work like that.

Shock from coilover and from normal shocks are design differently.
That's why the real coilover needs to rebuild over times because the abuse they actually get.
The normal shock has a longer life, but there is a travel distance they were designed to work at. So that's why a lot of people would not recommend stock shocks with lowering springs. I know that he is going with aftermarket units, but that is still not a real coilover. If you really want the adjust ability, getting tein basic will be a way better choice.
The biggest thing is how often you are going to adjust it. I have a set of KYB AGX and I have only adjust it once. We are talking about turning the knob. It is not like he is going to take off his wheels every week/month and put it 1' higher...
