That actually looks pretty good.

I think that chrome bit above the grille messes it up. Fix those tail-lights and I think I'll have my mind changed about the new Imprezas.

I've decided that I like the 5-door much better...the sedan looks too tall and awkward.

Change the front bumper so it doesn't look like it's smiling at you so much, and I think you've got a handsome car.

You're the guy SOA is marketing to then. Every year, despite the enthusiasts bitching about the new looks, WRXs sell more and more. The 02s are really the only true enthusiast WRXs, STis will always be an enthusiast car but the WRXs went too upscale. Who needs leather, sunroofs, and auto-AC in a sports car? I like my car for what it is, an extremely fun to drive, very fast (with mods), econobox.

08s with some mods look good but its still a weak platform, I cant wait to see what they do with the new STI.

I'm really wondering what it will take to hack that diffuser up and rig it to my stock bumper. Time to go back on a hunt for 06 taillights and an 04+ rear wagon bumper to put that diffuser on for a new rearend look.

Like I said...needs better tail-lights. I don't think those wheels go too well on the blue one.

Im confused by your statement. Are you implying they really buy them for the above stated purposes or did you mean do instead of dont.

Dunno man, I dont know how many times I've loaded up the back of the wagon with kegs, chairs, a loveseat, mattresses, piles of car parts, etc. Big proponent of the wagon versus sedan for these reasons.

so they finally come with sunroofs now?

It's been an option since the '04 model.

As for the new model, I'm definitely not a fan. That being said, I'm sure it will grow on me some (the last one definitely did), but I still think they've done a disservice to the Impreza name. Also, one of the magazines (don't remember which) did a review on the car and said it handles for shit. There is not even a RSB and there is no means for mounting one.

I believe it was only available on the STi limited (not 100%). It's been an option on the WRX since 2004.

True, and there aren't that many affordable wagons on the market anymore.

I couldn't stand them when I saw them first. The wheels, color, and the lack of that chrome piece on top of the grille makes it much better though.

Still not a fan of the back end but hey...

No, I don't believe they were ever owned by ford, or any other American company for that matter. GM owns a small percentage (hence the saabaru), that's it.

GM held 20% of its shares until 2005.
