boosting a F22a4???

ok guys since i know nothing about f-series i NEED HELP! my friend wants to boost his CB7. but its an auto with the gay-ass sports tranny shit on it....... what are the limits of the stock internals... i know the block has strong sleeves and it already has a low comp. but what can it push on the stock internals stock head. if he can, he'd like about 250-300whp but what kinda mods would that take and where could i get it tuned since it's not really an obd system. also the block has 110k on it. any kind of info would be helpful. and we are trying to stay away from a full h-series swap. thanx ahead of time.

He wont make that 250whp, unless you up the boost to about 14psi... but then the rings will go out on you.. I dont think the auto tranny will make it past 220whp...best bet to make that power.. forged piston, rings, and rods... and then youll make 250whp with a little more reliability...

anyone know how much pulling and builiding a f22a4 will cost. i know i can use h23 internals, right? if so i'll have a mechanic friend help.

Forget pulling it and having down time.. buy a spare motor and build it then, a spare motor especially the f22a4 will cost about 200...You can use H23 internals...
