Alright my question is should i get the coilovers w/ pillowball uppermount camber adjustments or buy w/out and use adj. a-arms and adj. rear upper control arms?
Thanks in advance.

you should probably buy the camber adjustable arms, since EGs can't adjust camber at the shock tower with a plate, being not strut type suspension and all...

Yeah my whole idea about it was that the oem a arms are old and some fresh beefier ones be better anyways.

i say u save your money. get shock n struts n some springs or sleeveovers for a nice look n a smooth ride. no point in getting full coilovers for hondas imo unless u got alot of money to spend. it not like we drift n shit. but yeh that my opinion. but to answer your question i say u get the adj arms

Yeah im not gonna go back to spring and srut fock that. Coilovers are way easier and only like 200 more bucks than buying spring and sruts. Plus i get 16 way adj and ride hieght adj. I kinda hope to put alot of money into the new car i get. Its the whole point of selling my DC.

Why would any Honda owner care about the quality of their suspension? Jeeze ricers these days!

I think the guy made a decent suggestion. IMO, the matched damper and springs thing is a bit of a marketing gimmick, for this case, I'd rather get Koni Yellows or Bilsteins (if they exist) and GCs with the appropriate springs. The damping characteristics on the European shocks are much better than typical JDM shocks (not saying they're bad, and when it comes down to it, manifestation of the difference on the road probably isn't huge, especially for a street car).

if u think that shit than thats your fuckin opinion. i just sayin imo honda doesnt have to have coilovers to ride smooth. who the hell doesnt want a nice smooth ride? n me i rather just build my own suspension beside getting full coilovers

haha bout 3gsah sweet, I meant to ask you yesterday which version...5-way $1,600, N1 $2,950, or the NZ for $2,950 PLUS the cost of the springs ($250-350) You pretty much answer that one :goodjob:
The Del Sols at Raceworks have been using Advanced Design coil-overs for years, made custom at Ground-Control and run about $1,400-1,600 EACH corner, I won't say the specific spring rates but the front is well over 1,000 lbs/inch :ninja: Talking about a fun car to drive :yumyum:

As greatly as Tein is marketed in the US, their products are not known to be top notch in Japan....
I would say if you're going to spend money on some coilovers like someone said earlier, match your own set up to your liking ...
Or if you insist on getting flashy adj :blah: :blah: :blah: dampers then go with a company like Tanabe, Cusco, or even Omni....:goodjob:

Yeah the tein basic dampers are only ride height adj. I just wanted to know if anyone has ever used them. This car is probaly going to be just a daily driver so i figure i would go with lowest end tein offered. The basic damper is only like 700 or 800 bucks so...

If that's your budget, get omni's........:goodjob:
I believe that you can get them custom built to match whatever spring
rates you desire.....

No what i was saying is that i want something that rides smooth and adj. ride height. By all means i want some with good quality. :goodjob:
