looking for a good place that sells steak in atlanta, it is ganna be for a date and i just wanted to know if anyone has one they really like i am ganna be in the ponce de leon so anywhere around that area would be nice but let me know what yall like dont go to the ATL very much...thanks

It's not in that area... but I really enjoyed a place called "The River Room" It's off Cobb Pkwy. Had the Calamari for an app. and it was probably the best I have had... And the Steak was very very very good... Yummie, makes me hungry talking about it, lol

Aspen's is a great steak restaurant that is not too expensive, but tastes like it is. I went on a date there and got out for about $75 with a glass of wine each, and dessert.

stoney river is good, but i wanna try something new, i have heard about aspen, i am ganna look up the river room, was it expensive i dont wanna spend more than about 60..

There is the Highland Tapp in the Virginia Highlands. They're pretty good.

River room was about $100 - $120... steaks, appitizers, a couple of beers, and a couple of martinis... i think that was about right... it def is a nicer place... Here is a picture of the little courtyard thingy

Another really nice place is Pampas. It's down Pleasant hill road past meadlock bridge. I guess that's alpharetta area but they have awsome food.

Ok first the obvious,

Bones, Personally I think they have the best steaks in Atlanta

Chops, Great steaks not as good as Bones(personal opinion)

Aspens, Great steaks, I would say on par with chops.

Be prepaired to spend $36 each for just the steak though (no potato anything).
Great food, and the service cannot be beaten.

Chops is pretty good. A bit expensive

Houston's is great, always a favorite of mine and moderately priced.

If you wanna spend some money, go to Ruth Chris.
