How much in power does one stand to gain from installing a cold air intake? What type of intakes are best for the AP2?
Thanks

I would go with J's racing, spoon, or arc. I don't know about a cold air intake. I would get a spoon air filter :goodjob:

none that you can feel. 99.9% is for looks and the sound. you get improved throttle response with some high end intake ducts.
i suggest the following:
mugen ($1300ish)
j's racing ($1000ish)
ARC - don't worry about heatsoak because you won't feel it ($550ish)
spoon or j's snorkel for the stock intake box - $3-400
PRM - $250-300
if you want the best bang for the buck, try the t1r 70mm single exhaust combo'd with a nice header. it's proven to give you significant weight savings + 10-15hp.
and the ARC sounds meaner too....
and don't get a PRM. you'll kill your throttle response.

I had a ebay intake on mine that copied the injen design for about $30 shipped. I think I only paid $7 for the intake itself :bannana:
It sounded nicer and was told by a friend that the car pulled harder but that may have been the weight savings more than the intake itself.
The J's racing header and T1R 70mm that was suggested is also a awsome set up for NA.
