Do any of you guys have your batteries in the back, I hooked up all the wiring and moved my battery to the back, but I have no clue where to mount it. It is currently sitting where my spare used to be and is strapped with like, these ghetto straps, I can take pics if you want but I just want to know how you guys mounted your battery if you did move it. I have no rear interior so its just metal everywhere.

Thank You,
Mikey Przybyslawski

They make an actual box for moved batteries. Only problem after securing it is the gasses. Either buy one or make one, just be sure to vent the gas out of the car. Mount it on the side, like near a strut or where the spare was.

You guys are funny none the less, and I'm using these straps and even though it looks ghetto that shit doesnt move at all. and I'm using ten gauge wires i think. I'll post pics later but its pretty nifty.

I have my battery in the back Mikey.

But I'm not completely pleased with it either.

I'd like to figure out how to put it under the rear bumper somehow in the future...

But you're welcome to take a look at it anytime. The factory tray is just welded to the passenger side rear of the trunk area.

under rear bumper would be pretty cool...untill you needed acess to it.

I think you'd need to cut into the bumper support, and if you get rear ended...structural integrity wouldnt be as good.

I'd personally say invest in a dry cell battery and put it in the spare tire well. Dry cell, no gasses, can be tilted with no spillage or leekage. A bit pricy, but its worth doing right if youre going to do it.
