I drive a 05 VW GTI 1.8T H&R coilovers, APR exhaust and down pipe
Very nice, I replied to your IM about meets. Def. come check it out. We had a fairly big meet last night at Krispy Kreme and then Felinis down town.

Nice. I almost bought a silver one, then the sale of my car fell through. :( Intake, diverter valve, full exhaust, and chip and it'll be fun.

Thanks i am going to get APR software, 3inch exhaust, H&R cup kit intake, and diverter. I was going to get some new rims but i cant see spending 1500 on rims and tires that are going to be the same size as mine. I am more into GO then SHOW.

I have seen proven numbers where GIAC makes more power than APR. 3 inch exhaust is def. a good chouce, and intakes make the 1.8t's sound amazing.
As for cup kit, I would suggest coils because everyone I know who bought a cup kit eventually sells it to get coils and takes a big loss. In fact I am installing an H&R cup kit tomorow that my friend sold when he bought his coilovers. So my suggestion is spend about $1k and get some good coils.

I forgot where I saw this at, but a magazine was modding a 1.8t gti and it already had bilstein suspension and they changed it out to put on coilovers(I think they were neuspeed.)The 1/4 mile time for the old suspenion setup was 14.5 and then with the coilovers 14.3.
You can get new coilovers off vortex for 800 shipped. I'll search the whoretex for those coils.

welcome, I actually manage several communities in Newnan off Hwy 34, so I am don a few times a month, I'll keep my eyes peeled. I am usually down there in a 07 blk passat wagon on H&Rs.
I was a die hard APR guy, now I se where some models do better with certain brands, GIAC actually makes more usable pwr in the Paassat 2.0Ts......But I loved my car load of APR in the 1.8Ts.
different strokes for different folks!
