Wide receiver.. (Noriaki Kinoshita) pretty damn cool to me to see the little guy out there returning kicks and he's pretty fast. Just thought it was interesting, he says the Falcons has always been his favorite team by the way.

That was not remotely funny.

I don't know what he would need to do. He made it, untouched, to the end zone. Later, QD.

Yeah he had that problem in the game on monday, it was like he would run in a straight line, he's fast but not the greatest when it comes to dodging tackles.

maybe he didnt have to juke, didnt watch the game but if he made it to the endzone he probably didnt have to juke. Juking takes speed away, but #20 the old returner sure as crap could juke.

Just watched the video though...

I LIRL when he hugged the out of bounds marker then looked at it like "WTF?!" when he stood up.

Awesome though! :goodjob:
Seen Rossum do that a few times

When I heard his name announced in the dome Monday, I couldn't make it out. I immediately asked my cousin if the Falcons had a Japanese guy returning punts. She wasn't sure either so I just chalked it up to me misunderstanding the announcer.

Did the Falcons get him straight from NFL Europe?

Kinoshita has his own section because like with Ichiro Suzuki he brings a huge Japanese media following to an American sport, so they give him extra attention regardless of how popular and skilled he really is in the sport. If he preforms well this year expect SportsCenter to cover him eventually.

Thats how it is.. even Tadahito Iguchi has a huge media following as well as Yi Jianlian who doesnt want to play in Milwuakee for the Bucks because the city isn't a big enough market or media outlet for the Chinese star...

So btw Kinoshita was cut today... Maybe practice squad? I don't think he got enough preseason reps, but oh well.

I read he was picked up by my Steelers but, my cousin (the Falcons fan) said he was still a Falcon. Anyone have any details of his whereabouts?

It's true...

Additionally, the Steelers traded a 2008 conditional draft pick to the Atlanta Falcons for return specialist/cornerback Allen Rossum. Rossum (5-8, 178), a 10-year veteran from Notre Dame, was originally drafted in the third round (85th overall) of the 1998 by the Philadelphia Eagles. He then was traded to the Green Bay Packers and spent two seasons (2000-01) with the team before signing with the Falcons as an unrestricted free agent on March 13, 2002.

Rossum, a 2005 Pro Bowl selection as a special teams returner, holds the Falcons record for career punt return yards (1,723), career kickoff return yards (5,489) and career punt returns for touchdowns (2).

This is from the Steelers website
