nice driveway.I woulda done stamped concrete, lay down about a 3/8" thick layer of fresh concrete and stamp it a cobblestone pattern -- then some sort of acid wash... :D

Good idea, I like the first pic you posted. It's a pretty neat brick driveway.

^^ yea it's expensive as shit too!The idea behind it is so simple though, you can even buy the giant rubber stamps off eBay to do it yourself. Just need a clean dry surface to adhere the fresh thin layer of concrete to then lay the stamps on top, stepping on one then laying down the next, pull up the one behind you and repeat the process (making sure you apply the release agent on the stamps as needed).

A Million dollar driveway, walkway, patio, or even interior flooring for a fraction of the cost :D

what H.S. did you go to and what college? like i said before Your knowledge for EVERYTHING is overwhelming...it makes my head hurt.lol, man...you put me in a classroom and i'll go crazy! Learning has to be a hands-on real life situation or you'll lose me to drawing sketches of cars & designing houses & garages and the random looking out the window while making car noises, shifting, and the occasional blow-off valve.

I could sit in a classroom and learn a lil spanish or go to mexico for a week or two and learn more than the class could ever teach in a year, that applies to just about everything else as well.

There's few things better than sitting at a racetrack while passing a flask of tequila around listening to the stories of the guys have that been racing for decades. I can already see it now...i'm that old man on the bench with the long winded stories, probably playing checkers with QD, talking about the things we did back in the day to whoever will listen. Alot can be learned from the old wise people that have lead fulfilling and interesting lives, the rest just sit there in their diapers watching classic reruns on tv.

We did that with our patio. Next time I remember I'll take a pic of it. Looks like bricks laid out after it got dirty. :goodjob:
