Thanks, fellers. I am working those other issues, also. I have to wait a little over a year until I can have that surgery.

As for the car, I am fixing to leave now to find out my options and dollar amounts to have the work done. If the price is right, I'm going to continue with planned swap. If not, stock it will be. Later, QD.

a swap in that car would be badass, but i remember sum1 saying that they wouldn't swap motors in a cvcc...:thinking:

Were you referring to me? I love the stock engine and the only reason I would put a newer engine in this car is for reliability purposes. Later, QD.

QD, if there's anything the EF Squad can do to help out with the surgery, by all means let us know...

On another note, what engine are you looking at? My garage is your garage, as well as my tools, and I know I can get you some shop time if you wanna use the shop I work at. Lifts, air...anything you could/might/would need/want. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help. Not because I wanna be a nutswinger, but because I've never seen a civic of that year done...everyone I know says it can't be done. I wanna see "can't" become "never gave up".

Curious about that job, though...?

i think you might have said it, but w/e. mby i'm wrong.

anyway, you plan on just swapping another engine the same as what you have for reliability, or maybe an LS or b16 or somethin for performance?
