I'm goin to the junkyard tomorrow to replace the carburetor in my mom's old car. Its an 89/88 toyota corolla wit over 220,000 miles on it. Still runs pretty good, but can only go for a little less than a mile before it sputters like CRAYZYEEE, and then dies. So, im gonna rip a 'better' carb from the junkyard and stick it in there.

Does anybody have any tips or suggestions before i go for it?:goodjob:
(....other than labeling all the vacuum lines....)

try rebuilding the carb you already have. You can probably find a kit for cheap, and then it should run better than if you put a carb on that has been sitting in a junkyard with old gas in it.

well, this is an Aisan carburetor.....even trained mechanics say its REEALLY hard to rebuild those and that its better to just get one from the yard..
