that wont work for those wheels. takes a weird size for the look he wantsWhat do you mean it won't work? You always keep the same outside diameter when you're swapping tires and that formula/calculator helps you do it. :2cents:

A 225 is entirely too wide for a civic/integra. Use a 215 max but only with the correct offset and stiff enough suspension to prevent hitting the fenders...205/50-15 or 205/45-16 is the ideal size. I've used 215/45-16's on a 16x7.5 wheel with 1/2" wheel spacers for my porsche brakes and it didn't look too out of proportion, just a little aggresive...if Azenis were available in 215/40-16's i'd get them again.

i didnt mean they wouldnt work as in he couldnt run them. what i was saying was that those wheels were meant to run a 195/45 tire to give it that "look". and if his car is slammed he has to run that size or there will be horrible scrubbing issuses. i have ran this wheel i know.

185 and 195 is stock width tires for civics and integra's with 6.5-7" wide wheels back to the late 80's, these are 8"...the same width as my oem 300zx wheel that came with 225's stock (but of course i ran 245's)

dude i know that. lol you dont get what i am saying. i have always run a 205/50 on 15" and even 215/40 on 16" but you cant do that with these wheels and not have rubbing issues on a honda unless you roll the hell outta the fenders. 15x8 with a 25 offset

You could stretch a 195 on it and look like a D1 car but my car already comes around on me with sticky 215's, i can't imagine 195's

i doubt he bought those wheels to race on. i doubt anyone will buy those to race on. and i seriously doubt he will go so far as to locate the correct springs. prob just wants it slammed on them so he can ride out.

i just posted that site to show you what you should be running...not what would look best. if you pick a size you can put it in to the calculator and see what the difference you would be running....I know thats there are LESS miles on my car then what the odometer says due to the tire i ran for over 2 years but no one is going to think about that when it comes to pricing the car....doh

The tire looking like its stretched out, is the "look" that Bucky is referring to. Anything larger than a 195 on a 15x8 will look rediculous. A 195 series will tuck right under those fenders. Your going to have to role those fenders. Good luck with this. Im doing it right now on some 16s

thats just it i had some 16" gram lights and rota slips. they were not as wide as these.

Yeah there is a big difference of how an identical tire will look on a 16x7 compared to a 16x8

you need 195/45/15s and yet still you need to roll da fenders..

Da_unknown

i dont think even if u roll da fenders is gonna look right... and if u roll it 2 far those would be da only wheels u will be rocking on that car...
