ok heres something i have noticed with these two news stories.

You people are racist, 90% of you that is.

I see you people defend Don Imus' remarks, then i see you want to string Vick up from a tree. I see you people defend Vick and yet months ago you were calling for Imus to be fired.

what both these people did was wrong, Imus should not have said those racist remarks and Vick should have known better than to kill/fund dogfighting.

Neither situation has anything to do with race specifically.........
With the Don Imus situation, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton made it a race issue....
With this current Vick situation he fucked up, period

I don't honestly think that had he been white , the situation would have played out any differently.....
I don't agree with the severity of the punishment he may receive but that is a whole different story....

This being the case, perhaps you shouldn't indulge in hambugers, chicken, steak, bacon, wear leather jackets, or use any other byproduct that comes from animals....Animals used for consumption don't die comfortably.....

But then again I do forget that dogs and cats are somehow better and more akin to humans than other animals are.....;)

I don't know how they kill cows, chickens, or pigs, but anything has to be more humane than what Vick did. I really doubt that in order for me to have a hamburger, the cow needs to be hanged, drowned, electrocuted, burned, and beaten...

Yes, in our country we've made them into our companions rather than eating them like some other countries do. Vick doesn't live or play football in those other countries though... therefore what is right and wrong relative to America comes into play.
