Ok. So I don't really know a lot about motors. :(
But I have a 1995 Ls. The motor/tranny are super stock Lol. 212k miles. So, now I have a hole in the headgasket. Is it worth replacing?? Or should I go ahead and get a B20 and another Ls tranny with lower miles???

Also, if I go B20, I can use my ecu right? And intake manifold?
And what problems will I run into?

Thx

EDIT:

so at 215k miles. I've decided to get a B20 vtec swap. with a b16 head and tranny. and a b20 block. im also swapping it to a manual. and no, im not planning on boosting it, yes, i know the b20 block is too weak for boost.

thx ;)

dont start swapping and modding if you dont know much about it. It will cause a lot of headaches when you dont know what to do or how to do it.

the b20 has a weak cylinder wall. so if u planning to boost that shit or vtec it i suggest u sleeve that shit or go with a block guard.

b20 would be the cheapest possible way to go. getting another ls head would be next. your last option would be or get a vtec head and jjust stick with your ls block. just depends on your amount of bank dude. goodluck with the decision though. i personally would go a b16 head. my 2cents:goodjob:

just replace your B18B with another B18B. They are strong engines and handle boost well (for street driven applications running normal boost levels)

It's not the price of the head gasket to worry about, it's the labor at which it cost... :lmfao:

Cheap route would be the B20 or another B18 you can get them for the same price just depends on you future plains, B20 better stock, B18 better boosted......
