i went through all the options, and tried different settings but nothing works.

Anyone know something that might help?

Mine did that and i just uninstalled it. I just use bit torrent and get stuff from the piratebay.org and demonoid.com. But if you really want to keep it just uninstall it and then reinstall it.

LIMEWIRE PRO FTW! Ya Uninstall And Then Reinstall Would Be The Best Thing To Do. Or Get Fucking Bitcomet.

No need to remove Limewire. I've had it for about 5 years and have not had any problems with anything. I only download music from there. Later, QD.

Get rid of lime wire......nothing but trouble!

With a name that old and tired, I'd have a hard time taking anything say to heart.

I've only found a problem with Limewire when downloading software. Never a problem one with music. Later, QD.

Ask anyone who knows about computers and they will tell you the same limewire will eat your computer. Just my 2 cents take it as you will.

Let me see. I asked myself( a dude that received a computer degree in college about 17 years ago, graduating with all A's) the question and my answer was I will keep Limewire on my cpu. Take THAT as you will. Later, QD.

Yes it's free. But again, why trust someone on here's word that no one likes or that no one knows over someone who is established on here. I'd say try again and if it is still messed up for you, go on to something else. Later, QD.

Ok. I actually have Limewire Pro, but before that, I never had a problem with regular LW. Like I said, that's only for music. I have had problems with downloading software, but it was nothing that Viruscan couldn't get rid of right away. Music has never been a problem. Later, QD.

Bearshare is the one you should stay away from, not Limewire.

I have LIMEWIRE.. and I'm having a problem with downloading, the other day I used it, downloaded like 20 songs or so, went back the other day and it won't download anymore.

So I'm like WTF?
