Well, it's about that time again. We are getting prepared for the biggest show to date, NICOFEST Atlanta 2007.
For those of you have attended in the past, there is no need to explain. For those of you who have never attended NICOFEST Atlanta, you are in for the most fun 2 days of your life!
NICOFEST Atlanta is a spin off of the famed NOPI Nationals held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in September every year. Last year the show brought in more than 110,000 people. For NICOFEST, we put all the Nissans in the show together in one area, provide food and drinks for everyone, shade, show awards (independent of the NOPI awards), music, and awesome cars. For the last 2 years in a row, we have won hands-down in the Group Participation award from NOPI. Last year we had nearly 100 registered vehicles under NICO, and this year we plan even more. Registration is now open and can be done through the NOPI website. This year our location in the infield has changed, but is promised to be a premium area, right next to all the vendors where you'll find the hottest cars, hottest models, and best deals on new parts. Plus, if our free burgers and dogs aren't good enough for you, you can go pay for a funnel cake without having to walk across the entire infield.
The link for registration is http://register.nopi.com/
Simply click on the link, select the NOPI Nationals at Atlanta Motor Speedway, and fill out the requested information. Make sure to put NICO down as your affiliated club so we get credit for you! Even if you are just a Nissan wannabe, and bringing your Kia, you can still choose NICO as your club! We encourage you to register for the show instead of buying a spectator ticket regardless if you are bringing a show car or not. Registration is $85 (increases to $95 after August 15th) and you get 2 tickets, PLUS, the most important thing, you can park in the infield and not have to walk 10 miles to get in like you would have to if you park outside.
So stay updated, check this forum often, and we will be adding more and more info on the show up until the last minute. Here is a parking map so you can see where to go before you make it there:
