I was looking at a customers website and saw some of their prices for modding some of the High End exotic cars that they service/modify....
Holy ish.... look at these prices....
F430 ECU Flash - The EVOtech ECU flash dramtically improves mid-range power and response. Peak HP an TQ gains are approx. 12hp and 12tq with improved throttle response.
$2990.00
EVOtech 360 Modena ECU Upgrade - 20 HP and 10 TQ respectively. The rev limit is increased to 9200 RPM. NO more chip soldering...the ECU is remapped using advanced "flash program" technology, which does not permanently alter the ECU in any way.
Contact us for complete details. $3900.00
Capristo 360 Modena Exhaust - 10hp increase.... $3599.00
Capristo “Test Pipes” for 360 Modena - $1300.00
Gruppe-M Racing: “Carbon Fiber Air Intake System” for 360 Modena - $3600.00
If you can afford a Ferrari none of that should matter anyway

that's pretty rediculous, but if i had the money for a Ferrari then that would be mere pocket change i guess

Its not so much the horsepower adding as much as its smoothing it all out.

I would just buy a pre-chipped computer off E-bay..... What could go wrong? But seriously, that's why the prices are so high. Mess up a B16 your out pocket change. Mess up the Ferrari engine and your out of your house.

haha true, but if car is going to make or break you, then maybe that's a sign that it's not the right car for you.

Prices alone aren't the major thing, it's the HP gains relative to what you're spending that makes them non-cost effective!

Exactly what I was gonna say. Those prices are chump change to a Ferrari owner. That's like telling someone your going to give them 12hp and 12lb/tq for $20 bucks
