Rear Fogs?

I would've advised you NOT to do it but since you already started, i guess make it look as good as possible.

It's seems like trends from 2001 are coming back - every other honda @ nopi had GS 300/400 Trunk lights- it was the "Affordable taillight semi conversion"

Regardless of what purpose the light actually serves I'm talking about the look, it'll still look like a 'GS conversion'

EDM is the new JDM, and soon we will see a complete reversal and, just like 80's clothes came back in style, in the year 2013, big body kits and wheels and racing stripes will come back.. then in 2018, everyone will be all about JDM... it's a vicious cycle...

...no. Transtop ftl. Heinous extra weight, nightmarish wiring, and unbelievably contrived installation. Do yourself a favor and dont get too fond of the idea.

Holy shit, I can't imagine how much that'd weigh. Maybe a good show-car idea...but damn.

Hey, I've got a rear fog light too!

osnap

around 200lbs... and they ALWAYS break. plus it takes considerably longer than it does to just get out and put it in the trunk.

SixSquared

Chris is just hating because it's the ultimate JDM toy that he doesn't have lol.

I had a rear clip but it went with my JDM Sol I owned briefly. The bitch about the transtop is that the gears were all made of plastic. Why I don't know. but they were. There was a company in Scotland for a while making metal replacements, but I dunno if they're still around. The transtop is a cool trick, but it is EXTREMELY mechanical... if one little thing breaks, it snowballs until the whole thing breaks about 30 seconds later.. usually stuck in the up or halfway up position. If you have a shitload of tenacity and even more cash, it will work in a USDM car... but it's a pain. I've done it once... not again. (TT motor went out on the SiR and no dealerships knew how to work on it, so I pulled it out and played with it.. luckily replacing the plastic gears with metal fixed it).
