I have a dc sport header and a ws 2 cat backs. When I start the car all you hear is the engine no exhaust noise. sounds stock:yes:

Get a Oval Muffler it make less noise. TANABE Cat Back Exhaust are rated to be less than 93 db.

Your best bet is this. Headers w/ 2.5 inch pipe. Resonator with forward facing baffles, and downsize the exhaust at the muffler from 2.5 to 2.25 to quell down on the droning that an aftermarket exhaust on an atx is good for. You'll still make good power, but you'll retain your midrange power and it won't be annoying at highway speeds.

Your best bet is ...Resonator with forward facing baffles...

words of wisdom!
The resonator is the most forgotten part of the exhaust, yet it is the piece that has the largest impact on the exhaust note.

your integra needs a header, not headerS. And as for the exhaust, If you want to keep an oem style muffler, find a jdm ITR muffler and get an exhaust shop to run stainless piping from the cat to the muffler. don't forget a resonator as well.

OR:

get a WS2 muffler by itself and get a shop to fab up a custom catback for your car. As long as you use a resonator and a real cat (not a test pipe) it will stay pretty quiet.

EDIT: just saw where you said it was for an altima. your name is MKIII, your sig pic is a teg, but you drive an altima?

forget the ITR muffler and go with a WS2 or greddy SP2.
