so what exactly is wrong with it? have you changed the dizzy cap and rotor? spark plugs and wires?

Fuel, air, spark. An engine needs all three in order to start. You're not getting one of those so check it all out.

We really need to know exactly what happens(or doesn't happen) when you try to crank it in order to give you any type of advice.

im sure the fuel is right now.. but when i try to crank it its not turning all the way over. i know the timing is probably way off now.. so when i try to crank it. the fuel pump comes on and the starter turns on and everything but when it cranks it shakes bad and it starts poping like its running too lean and it stalls out.. well its hard to explain on here... but its been in the shop for awhile and im just getting frustrated on it and i was right about to just trade it for something else.. so i guess just let me know what u think it is.

well, first of all, are you throwing any check engine lights? also make sure you are getting spark and fuel on all cylinders... its hard to diagnose without being there, but if you have fairly new ignition parts (cap, rotor etc) and aren't getting any check engine lights, i would check the timing and make sure the belt didn't jump any teeth... g/l

i drove it back from the shop i had it at.. but it was still running real rich and it couldnt go past around 3000 rpm. i was told that some wiring for vtec wasnt hooked up so it wounldnt go past it.. but idk what it is now.. but ill give you a call when i have it on the road and ill go tune it...

how long has that fuel been sitting in there? a lot of times what can happen is that if a vehicle sits for a while the fuel could go bad. try getting some type of fuel addittive if this may be the case.
just a cheap way to dianose is all.

my two cents

From the popping you described, either the timing is off, or the inside of your dizzy has came apart and it is not working properly.
