CIVIC ECU

I have a 99 civic ex, i did the auto to manual swap, so i bought an ecu u from this guy but it is the wrong one its for the 96-98, i need the RITE one , but i heard i can use the 99 SI one.. is this true.. if not does anyone have the RITE ONE!!!????? thanks:???:

just as long as you have a obd-2 ecu then it will be all good...but if you have vtec then the 99 si ecu would be good too...

yea its obd-2 and yea its Vtec.

you need to have it tuned tho like re-mapped and/or re-flashed. because 99-00 Si are b16a2 egines you have a ex which is D16y7 WAY DIFFERENT LOL

it's true. and i have another slip that says 16.2 and yeah all with a d16y7 only whit a ebay CIA and header... o yeah Tucan Muffler lol stock exhaust piping and 3 exhaust leaks lol

as long as you have an ex ecu you can probably get a conversion harness to go from obd2b-obd2a. check www.boomslang.us to see if he has any. if he doesn't he could probably make one for you. otherwise you'll need to get the y8 ecu. the fuel/timing maps are way different for the b16 ecu...do not use it.
