Auto Zone/ Advanced/ Oreillys/ Pep Boys/ NAPA

Where u get your parts from? Whats your opinions on each store..

My 2 favs are Advanced and Oreilys

usually the zone. Havent been to oreillys and advanced never has what i need. I also go to summit a lot of times too seeing how its 10 minutes away

i was suprised this weekend that i went to advanced for a 280$ radiator, they couldnt get it until 2 WEEKS!! i went to oreilys and it was 160$ and i will be here tuesday..

yeah the employees at mine are idiots too. This one ricer kid likes to automatically assume i got a b series engine in my del slow and trys to tell me that if change my head out that the engine can handle 30 pounds of boost lirl a d16z6 block handles 30 pounds of boost roflmao

I prefer Autozone. The manager at the one I go to is a cool guy. Pep boys is overpriced. O'Reily's is too far from my house. Advanced doesnt have good selection of products. And I only use Napa if I can't find the item I need elsewhere.

lol,last time i went in their......we had to wait 5-10 mins,for them to figure out who would wait on us....while the manger sat on his ass doing nothin in the corner,then the woman behind the counter though she would bitch out all the other employees,manger is doin nothing while this goes on............so we just in the middle of her rant,then went across the street to napa..and got the brakes right away

Advance is a nice place to work and shop. either way i shop at advance b/c i get part for cheap and they also help me pay for my bills.if u know what i mean.

I work at O'Reilly's. I like them alot better than the others. When I first got my car, there was only Autozone and Advance. Advance has shitty employees with shitty attitudes and the Zone never had what I needed. When O'Reilly's opened, I started shopping there. Then I started working there after I realized how much money I was spending, figured, might as well get a discount. :D

I like orielly's, but i usally order my parts from nissan!

i like oreillys b\c i know the store manager i always get good prices and he can usually get me whatever i want either same day or next

if its oem parts i need i have certain dealerships i shop from, usually the ones where i know the parts managers so i get the better prices (10% over cost)

I go to Advance because my friend's work there. Discount kicks ass...but if they don't have what I need or aren't open then we go to Autozone down the street. Lol 24/7 FTW!

I buy parts from HONDA!!! But for some bs stuff, i really don't care. I did buy a new direct fit catalytic converter from napa a few months ago so i could pass emissions. It sucked, Crush bends, and it rattled like a mofo. Plus i got a CEL for a non functioning cat last week. SO i put the stocker back on.

Advance/Napa are Overpriced. Autozone is usually $10-20 cheaper for most parts. Example, even with my roomates discount (worked for Advance) a new Alternator was $126 at Advance and was only $98 after the core charge at Autozone. They also offer a purchase card that after so many purchases you get a credit toward more merchandise. Also Being from the west coast Oreillys is always a good one, but unfortunately there arent really any that close to the house.

For everyday maint junk, its Advanced....but when I need parts, call them ALL. Its amazing the price differences you will get and it varies, one part might be $30 cheaper at AZ compared to the others but a different part be $25 more than everyone else. It PAYS to call all when you need a part. Our local Autozones are crap though, SLOW, dirty and just dont seem to care most of the time. Advance is ok, have friends that work there.......ORiellys is nice and clean and seems pretty good but its not as close to the house as Advanced so I dont shop there often. I WISH we had a Pep Boys....they BEAT EVERYONE hands down in amount of merchandise and they always are clean. Also, you dont have to wait on someone to finish researching parts for some idiot that has NO IDEA what he is doing, they have dedicated check out lines!!! I dont have one locally but hopefully we will get one soon.

I usually go to advance now since they've opened two new stores in my area that are both 5 min from my house in both directions and then if they don't have it i will call up napa because they have never been out of stock on a part i needed yet.

My district give 10% discount to go to another autozone for the parts if we don't have it in stock.

advance for some major parts like starter, battery, axles, etc because a buddy gives me 25% off =)
