We decided to put on a custom Batlground Spec GT30R turbo. We went ahead an switched to Tomei 260 cams for the tomei solid lifters. STOCK BLOCK, Greddy Intake manifold and 750cc injectors round out the setup.

We picked up about 500rpms of spool even though we switched to a BIGGER turbo, and we made 425whp at only 17psi of boost on PUMP GAS.

Its gotta be one of the highest whp for that boost that i have ever seen. Car feels great too, should be interesting this weekend :ninja:

Actually, speed is the thing you get judged on the most ;) with a speed gun...and it also includes your proximity to the car you are up against...speed wise ;)

If speed is the thing you get judged on most.... Why would you automatically lose from gaining grip to pass and go faster if it was a race?

I would think the thing about gaining grip to pass would apply to Drift Fury and Nopi Drift too, yes? Drifting requires great skill in car control, going fast, showmanship, etc. and is very impressive and competitive. It's just not racing.

Back on subject, That is a very nice set up, I wanted to upgrade to the 30r when I hade my sr. This car made 20whp more power than mine did pump vs pump at 2psi less. :goodjob: MIke did you every get an email back reguarding my car?

Pretty damn close, but actually velocity is speed with a given direction hence why you can treat velocity as a vector when performing various calculations.

right now its the setup dan is running on his, tracy has switched over yet.....

First time out dan took first at speedfed nationals with this setup, so, hopefully its the last one he will go through.

As for next year, we are looking for a little more displacement ;)
