Avic-D2 help??

im at work and got bored so i decided to go ahead and wire up the wiring harness. I read the install instructions and it seems pretty easy. There are 2 or 3 wires that I am a little confused about.

The Pink (Car Speed Signal Input) connects the the VSS wire correct??? Which is Blue/White. VSS is also known as the Speed Pulse wire or Speed Detection Circuit???


This can be found at the Cruise Control module??? anywhere else???

for the civic in your sig its blue/white or white/green both behind the glove box at the ECM/PCM Pin A18 or E25. the blue/white wire is also located at the Cruise control unit, in sedans to the left of the steering column, in coupes under the hood at the CC unit.

I knew that... got that off of Avic411.com.... but my question is the PINK wire is what connects to the VSS aka Blue/White or White/Green wire behind the glove box????


also i have 2 remote wires one is system remote control and the other is Auto-Antenna remote control. They are both Blue.... which one connects to the Blue wire on the wiring harness??? I do not have an antenna... i guess its hidden in the car.

you have a powered antenna in the rear window of your car im pretty sure. Of the two blue wires one should have a white stripe. The antenna wire should be hooked up to the pioneer's matching wire.

and hook the pink wire up to the VSS.
