Yes, Rob has been given Carpenter's blessing, but still, it's a remake of a much older film. I'm all for the movie, as Halloween is one of my favorite horror films ever, but the Saw series has been doing extremely well.

A good bit actually. Many people are stoked, especially since Devil's Rejects and House of a 1000 Corpses have become cult classics. Rob Zombie could (and should) revive the Halloween series. Saw I was the best IMO, but IDK. Let's just compare box office income when they come out...

halloween looks to be an amazing horror movie, but i hope he doesnt turn a great movie into a gore fest like every other movie...id rather be terrified than grossed out.

no way saw would compete with halloween.. I mean saw is a great series but come on halloween and Micheal Myers are classics that have followers. Im sure saw will make good money but how many 30 and 40 year olds do you think are getting a babysiter for when haloween comes out so they can go and watch it only becasue its a classic along with all the normal teens and 21-30 year olds who are going to watch saw.. put it this way ill pay my neice her 20 bucks to watch my daughter so i can go watch halloween but ill just wait until saw comes out onDemand.lol..

I like everything else zombie's done, but so far he hasnt impressed me with his movie making skills. Gore is dime a dozen, but having a movie actually scare you seems to be to much to ask from him.

I hope he doesnt mess up Halloween.
