Naw, I was being sarcastic about it.

I got kicked out = I grad.

And no, I didn't go to MIT for my Bachelor. I'll go there for my master if I ever going to continue my engineering degree.

But now, I gotta focus on the business and may be moving onto a different field.

SPSU. Been there for 6years, still have 1.5years to go like the retard I am. There is no party life at all. The parties are more like "everyone come over and lets see who can make the best robot in 3 hours". Every morning when I pulled up into that god damn parking lot, I want to put a bullet in my head. Im supprised I havent yet. In stead I have gone a bit nuts, so if you go there and you see someone walking across campus talking to themself, that would be me. It's really not overrated... here's the thing... if you work hard for the school, the school works hard for you. If you bust ass in your classes, you will get offered things that other people don't get... I bust my ass.. therefore, I'm going to San Francisco in October for an international Industrial Design conference, and to Europe in January to help Kicker Car Audio with their European product line launch. I bust my ass, I get offered amazing opportunities, which look GREAT on a resume, and I get my name out to all kinds of people in the field. As we speak I'm having 2,000 business cards made for the conference in October, because I'll be rubbing elbows with big, BIG name designers, and I *will* be prepared if they ask me for my card.

And in the art world, employers DO give a shit what college you went to... Especially amongst schools that have certain strong programs. For example... SCAD has Urban Design.. which basically is about planning urban and suburban developments... IE Atlantic Station, Centennial Park, etc etc... Now, they can hire an architect, and I'm sure they would get a good design and life would be peachy. But, say an architect applies for the job and an urban designer applies for the job... the urban designer has specific training pertaining to not just planning one space, but a multitude of spaces that interact with each other. The architect doesn't.

Yes, SCAD is full of pompous asses, but check out the online galleries... most of us have reason to be a bit smug... and yes, I include myself in that category. I'm a total bitch when it comes to art. :D

Basically, all I am saying is that employers are hiring the person, not the degree. In the end, they will care more about your portfolio and experience than where the degree came from. Some SCAD students (from what it sounds like you aren't being lumped into this category) don't seem to realize this.

On a positive note, congrats on the personal achievements.

Lol I'm in class and my professor is using marijuana as an example to explain government. :lmao:

Oh and the freshmen this year are annoying. Someone decided to go the wrong direction in the parking deck yesterday. Not to mention that they can't find their way around the school.

I actually wouldn't laugh at people who ask that. I've had connection issues all day yesterday. It found the connection, but it wouldn't give me a network address...and when it connected finally, each page took forever to load.

What's the matter?

Yeah I know, but it was working when they asked.

Also from 11am-8pm I had internet problems. I thought it was just me, even when I was using the ethernet cable it was slow. Frustrating as hell.

Paul, I refuse to vote until you put Savannah College of Art and Design on there. Do eeeeeeeeeet. Why? So that I can be the only one to click it... unless enormungus decides to come over to WL.

So I saw your picture on Maniacs thread, and you are one of the nastiest ugliest bitches I have seen in a while. That picture is anything but flattering, and after seeing it, I reccomend a bleach and anti-freeze cocktail for you.

On a side note, went to UGA for one year, now at USF when I moved to Tampa.

If you read the previous post you would have noticed (alumni), education? You act as if you go to Harvard or Oxford. Your GA state degree (assuming you have one) is by no means better than the degree I have from Georgia Southern. Your future and career is in your hands and maybe the hands of some connections you may have been fortunate enough to meet. Georgia Southern (GSU) FTMFW again.:2up:

I'm not acting as if I'm going to an Ivy League school, nowhere in my post did I mention that, nor did I compare State's education with Southerns'. Maybe if you actually read the previous post, you would see that the only comment I made was regarding education and having a football team. And the fact that there is no correalation between the two.

Anyway, the entire argument is between which school's acronym is GSU, and officially its States'.
