so yeah I heard that up to a certain year a car doesnt have to go through emissions every year my 88 mazda 323 didnt have to go but last year but I sold it and Im wondering if my teg has to do it this year considering I got it tested last year its a 94
If I read that right, you have a 94 integra, and you are in a county that requires emissions? If so, yes, you need to get tested. Find a place that does ASM (I think). Stands for acceralted simulation mode, which pretty much means it goes on a dyno to be examined while its running. I believe 82 or 83 and newer cars/trucks MUST be tested too, and the 3 most recent model years are exempt.
Sorry but I'm kind of tired, so if you are asking something else, let me know. But ASM is OBD-1, but a lot of wanker emissions guys scoff if you call it OBD-1 now
At least the one where I work does.
One last thing, how long ago was your test? I'm not sure how long they are good for (For example, I have to renew next March, so if I got it tested now, I don't think I could use the test I just got in March) but I'm not sure, I can ask my emission guy tomorrow if you want.
